We endulged in a beachside couples massage which was very nice. However, on the nights we wanted to stay out and enjoy some drinks we were able to do that next door. We were looking for quiet and relaxing for most of the trip, and we felt like we got that. The shows and activities at night were good, but it was nice and quiet on our side of the resort in the evening. We enjoyed the nightly dinners at the specialty restaurants, and had no problem getting reservations as we made them as soon as we arrived. The drinks at the bar were as strong as you wanted them, and made with top shelf liquors. The food was fine, about the same quality as other all-inclusive's we have stayed at. That provided for more privacy, but was still a strange amenity. We had read the reviews about the tub on the balcony, and requested a room on the backside of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was older, but very nice. We were able to get a hut by the pool on 2 out of 7 days, and the rest of the time we had no problem finding chairs. It was the cleanest pool bar we have ever seen. We had many great afternoons with the other guests enjoying drinks at the pool bar. We really enjoyed the lazy river style pool, although it would have been nice if it connected to the main pool with the bar. You will thank me that you did! I would recommend this trip to you if you are looking to relax with great people and eat good food and have plenty of drinks in your hands. He went above and beyond anything we could have expected and if you are going to this resort make sure you look him up. One more special employee was Juan Manuel he made sure we had anything we needed to make our honeymoon extra special. He was just a super nice guy that always had a smile on his face and greeted us with a big HOLA every time we saw him. We also had a great waiter in the Ocean restaurant and the buffet by the name of Gregory. He has so much energy and will try and find anything you request by the pool for music. Both of these employees deserve a raise for all of their hard work!!! Also Hector is a blast. We hung out by the pool most days and the bar service from Aneudy behind the bar and Andry brining us our drinks could not have been better. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and it was the best vacation either of us had ever been on. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with great people then this is the place for you. If you interact and have fun with them they will go out of their way for you. First off a special thank you to the service staff at this resort as they will go above and beyond to make your trip a great one. Some people will never be satisfied and always need to complain about something. Before I start my review please read a lot of the negative reviews on here with an open mind.
